Unique Body Construction and Size The most unique aspect of the Gibson Midtown Standard is the innovative body. It is slightly larger than an electric guitar, yet smaller than the typical semi-hollowbody guitar. The Gibson Midtown Standard features a solid maple top with f-holes to give it a definitive semi-hollow look and feel.
