You definitely get what you pay for here... If you're looking for some cheap spares to have around in case of breakage, these will do the trick, but don't delude yourself into thinking that these are ... read more [+]anywhere near the quality of an American-made stick like say a Pro-Mark or Vic Firth... these are made in China out of Chinese mystery-wood that varies greatly in weight, (one pair I got weighed about 3x more than the other pair). Also the "nylon" tip was a much harder plastic than I would expect and was a weird unconventional teardrop shape. One good point was that they were actually straight... so not a complete write-off. In retrospect I wish I would have just spent a couple dollars more and bought a decent/reputable pair of sticks than these "off-brand" bargain basement specials. close [-]
