You're looking at Serial #127111357 We provide these photos so that you can see the EXACT guitar we have available to ship. From Our Research Team:The 335 Solidbody is Back!Originally created in the 1980s, the Gibson 335-S Solidbody was produced to fill the demand of players who wanted the brighter tone of solid maple bodies. While the shape of this unique guitar is the same as the 335, the size is smaller and more Les Paul-like. A pair of Burstbucker humbuckers give the Gibson 335-S Solidbody the traditional PAF sound sought after by so many players. The maple neck and pau ferro fretboard are amazingly playable and toneful. Get the brighter tone you are looking for with the Gibson 335-S Solidbody.Gibson 335-S Solidbody Electric Guitar at a Glance:
Classic shape in a smaller size If you are looking for a unique guitar, the Gibson 335-S Solidbody definitely fits the bill. At first glance you see the shape of a double-cutaway 335, then on second glance you notice it is smaller, almost Les Paul-like. But don't let the smaller size fool you, this guitar has huge tone. The combination of woods and electronics ensure that you will be heard at any gig with the punch only a maple body can give you. Maple body and mahogany neck The solid maple body gives you a brighter tone than mahogany, the traditional Gibson solidbody tonewood. It's also lighter than mahogany, your back will thank you for that after those long gigs. You'll find the double-cutaway body similar in shape to the 335 hollowbody guitar, thought it is somewhat smaller in size. The combination of the fast playing maple neck and warm-sounding pau ferro fretboard will have you dishing out tasty licks from the first time you pick it up. Powerful, punchy pickups Two of Gibson's best-loved humbuckers - a Burstbucker 2 in the neck position, and a Burstbucker 1 in the bridge - gives the Gibson 335-S Solidbody the power, punch, and clarity of Gibson's legendary PAF pickups. Other appointments include vintage-style Gibson speed knobs, classic Grover kidney-bean tuners, and a Tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar. Gibson 335-S Solidbody Electric Guitar Features:

I ordered this shortly after a "love at first sight" type of scenario. As I read reviews I became split on if I had ordered the right guitar, although these were only reviews of the 1980-1983 335 s' ... read more [+]and only some opinions of Gibson's bringing this guitar back. Doorbell rings, and guitar arrives. Upon the first fretting of any of the strings I was simply amazed at the ease of play. Set up was practically flawless, proper intonation, strings nice and low to the board and no buzz anywhere. Plug in. Wow! Don't be fooled by the lack of two tone knobs as there are so many tones in here. Jazz, Blues, clean, dirty, dry and wet. Sustain just goes on and on. Being a solid maple guitar does brighten up the overall tonal range, but believe me the lows stay intact. Neck is a bit towards the chunky side and will take some getting used to if you have been playing more of a 60's slim taper style. The overall weight of the guitar is up there, but not unmanageable. This one is a winner in my book and I am glad it has made it into my collection. Sweetwater is batting a thousand with me and their customer service truly above and beyond. close [-]
