A 'Turbo Charger' for Dynamic Microphones! Using conventional microphones with long multi-core cables results in a dramatic loss of signal strength, and sound quality due to cable resistance and capacitance. Rode's D-Power Plug is as close as you can come to having a 'Turbo Charger' for Dynamic microphones! Featuring a precision instrumentation grade pre-amplifier circuit, D-Power Plug will turn any standard dynamic microphone into a high-gain, electronically balanced output device. Powered by standard 48-volt phantom power, D-Power Plug can drive cables in excess of 100 m with negligible loss of signal quality or power. Rode D-Power Plug Features: Instrumentation grade pre-amplifier. Balanced input and balanced output. Minimum losses over long cable runs. P48V phantom powered. Gain: +20 dB.
