Non-slip Keyboard Pedal

The well-built, real-feel DP-10 pedal from Sweetwater comes with a non-slip rubber plate — essential when performing on hardwood or slip-prone surfaces — and an extended cable (2.2m) for stacked multi-keyboard setups. You can use the DP-10 with the top-tier instrument on your rig! It is compatible with Roland half-damper-capable keyboards, and it can also serve as a standard pedal switch for sustain and other control functions for units with normally closed polarity. Plus, the DP-10 is reasonably priced.

Sustain pedal

Great pedal. Love the flap that rotates out so that I don't have to chase the pedal all over the place while I am performing. Roland figured out what no other keyboard or keyboard supply manufacturer has, a simple way of preventing one of the most frustrating aspects of performing for a keyboardist. Way to go Roland! And way to go Sweetwater for carrying this great product!

Roland DP-10 Piano

Great range of response especially for beginner players.

Great Pedal

This Pedal works great with my Roland Juno-DS

solid, works as a continuous pedal

Weighty enough to stay in place, and the continuous CC output is plenty sensitive for half-pedaling.

The Only Pedal Option for Heavy Duty Live Use

I've been using the DP-10 pedals for over 20 years; I've tried alternatives by a couple other manufacturers, and the DP-10 still works, while the others broke within a year or two. Currently, I have five of these ranging from 5-15 years old, and I've only ever had to replace one of them (my oldest from 2001) due to failure, following 10+ years of heavy live use. I have these stocked in my live bag, as well as set up around my studio. They cost more than alternatives, but you get what you pay for. I'm currently buying my sixth DP-10 for use in the new live rig, and I know it will be a good investment and I won't have any issues on the gig.

What Do Our In-house Gear Experts Think?

Evan Mehre

Having played Steinway Ds, I can attest that the feel of the DP-10 is bang-on. It has a pleasant resistance to it and relaxes smoothly to the bottom, making it easy to access the half-damper area of its range. My favorite part is the grip on the bottom. It won't move, so I'll never have to worry about chasing my DP-10 around the stage.

Simply put, modern electronic music wouldn't exist without Roland. Many of the electronic musicians here at Sweetwater cut our teeth on TR Rhythm machines and fondly remember programming our first TB-303s. We owe a good part of our careers to this amazing and innovative company. It's been fun to watch and grow right alongside Roland, as they've introduced wave after wave of revolutionary keyboards, digital pianos, and more. For example, Roland's V-Drum Kits continuously redefine the possibilities of electronic drums, beginning with SuperNATURAL technology to the latest Prismatic Sound Modeling. We're huge fans, and we'd love to tell you all about them. Whether you want a pocket-sized synth or a cutting-edge video mixer, if Roland makes it, then Sweetwater is 100% behind it.
