Customer Reviewsfrom Kempner, Texas September 7, 2011 Music Background: 30+ year hobbyist Huge!!First -- I did not buy this guitar from Sweetwater; this is a review of the DN3 only. The sound of this guitar is HUGE. After 30+ years of playing a cheap and poorly setup guitar, I sampled hundreds of guitars at every major and minor retailer in the many cities my business takes me to. I settled on the DN3 because of the sound. I could hardly believe how big and rich the sound was even when compared to many more expensive guitars. It makes me sound like a better player, and since it also makes me pick it up and play more often and since it's so easy to play, I have become better. Usually after making a major purchase, many of us, and me included, go through "buyer's remorse" and wonder if perhaps our money would have been better spent somewhere else. I can honestly say that every time I pick this guitar up, I'm happy I bought it. from toronto, ontario February 17, 2011 Music Background: hobbist intermediate taylorman for lifeabsolutly blown out of the water tried, martins, guilds, nothing came close to this in the sound and tone of the guitar. had a 214ce before this, the dn3 blows the 214ce out of the water. also remember its made in the US by taylor. great instrutment for any musician, the best thing its accoustic not electric. best damn guitar i've had in awhile and its accoutic.enjoy try it you'll like it.from Columbus, OH December 16, 2010 Music Background: Beginner Taylor DN3Purchased as my first guitar in October 2010...great sound and amazing construction. A real pleasure to learn on. I constantly get complements on the guitar's looks and sound. Was a little leery of purchasing a guitar site unseen, but Sweetwater's service put me at ease. Very pleased with my purchase.from Ann Arbor, MI January 15, 2009 Music Background: Hobbyist Taylor DN3For the price and the quality of sound you can't go wrong. Played way more expensive models and the DN3 out did most. Couldn't be happier!
