We bought this system for our church. I was based upon all reviews around the web, as well as the basic quality of the D5 capsule from AKG that is very good.December 13, 2012 Music Background: Mastering and Live Sound Engineer When we installed the system we... read more [+] were very disappointed, at a first moment, since that, with 4 mics connected to the base of the AKG Quattro Vocal Set, we got a lot of drops in the signal, making it impossible to use in our Sabbath service at the church. After carefully study of possible causes, we discovered that close to where we've installed the base of the system, we had our wi-fi router. Since both devices work on the same frequency range, we've decided to move the base to the opposite side (20 meter from the router close to the place where the mics would be used). As per "magic", the system turned itself in the best wireless system we've used in our church! I've been in this PA industry for over 25 years and I can say that this system is absolute flawless with pure, non compressed signal. The D5 capsule delivers a crispy and very inteligible sound with great highs (not harsh) and smooth and "heavy" bass. Perfect for vocal. The signal before feedback is great (better than our previous systems). In my opinion, it a "killer" system due to its quality and price. As a CON, I could only mention the quality of the handheld mic (DHT70) that is a kind of plastic material and seems a little bit fragile, as well as the system to take the batteries out that are so hard that most of the time requests some think to help, such as a key). But working with care, you will have the best possible system for this price. (and if you need to replace the handheld, do not worry..it is very cheap too!!!). It is an awesome product!!
