This is THE unsung collection in the Line 6 pantheon of modelling. I bought it as soon as it came out after reading all the UK/US guitar mags. The blind date was instant long-lasting marriage. It has EVERYTHING a studio or performing player could want: even the ability to use our own special favourite distortion/fuzz/OD/boost pedals along with the DM-4. My '82 TS9, vintage Vox Tone Bender and boutique fuzzes all sound great MIXED with most of the settings provided. Want to thicken a fuzz or distortion? Double your favourite with your choice from the DM-4! The endless choices are goose-flesh inspiring. The models are so dead-on. Some may not nail the sound of the original circuitry; but, in most cases, a blind-fold test would prove near perfection. The Edge started using it around "Beautiful Day" time. Tweaks are so massive, there are few textures afforded him (and the secret additions made for him) that you cannot approximate or nail. To my ears, this crushes all but the DL-4 for perfection. Give it a try. It is a great addition to my live kit. (It is built into my xt Live and x3.) ENJOY ... but do not overlook!!!

Great Pedal

this pedal is great if you are looking for a versatile distortion/overdrive pedal for every tone you could want, and a flanger fuzz!. i have used this pedal extensively at church and other gigs and i can dial in nice subtle overdrives like the DOD overdrive model, or nice bluesy leads with the ts808 model, ive had this for about 5 months now and the battery life is amazing if you use quality batteries like Duracell and each set lasts about a month and it was used everyday. so if you are looking for a great reliable pedal (with true bypass) then this is for you.
