Customer Reviewsfrom Louisville, ky March 4, 2013Music Background: Church Music Leader Fits GreatNo issues. Installed quickly and fits perfect. A tad expensive for what you get but it will solve your mounting requirement.from Nashville, TN January 14, 2013Music Background: FOH Live Sound Mix Engineer The Mackie DL1608 Rack KitVery easy to attach to the mixer with the 4 screws provided with the kit.The small amount of space left over on each side of the mixer (about an inch, once mounted into the rack kit) is perfect for storing a flashlight and/ or your touch-pen. The rack kit seems to be sufficiently heavy duty. I've had it out on gigs already and it looks like it'll last a long time! from Seattle, WA September 19, 2012Music Background: 25 year serious hobbyist playing keyboards. Solid, but odd installationI'ts a hunk of metal that you fix your DL1608 so there is not THAT much to say, except I found it odd that the screw installation/holes come up under the DL1608 so in order to line it up, you have to put your brand new mixer on it's face (make sure you take out your iPad), line up the metal on top of the mixer and insert the 4 screws. I just don't like the fact that I have to put my mixer down on it's face. They do use threaded metal screws and it's a firm fit. There is about 1 inch of room on each side of the mixer and the metal sides. Sure looks industrially sexy with the mixer in it sitting in my rack. I use the Mackie products dropped in a SKB 1SKB-R104 case with a DBX Drive Rack and Aphex Exciter. I dig my new setup. Hope this review helps for what it's worth |
