Pulse Control provides vital visual feedback
Pioneer Pro DJ absolutely loaded the compact DDJ-ERGO with useful features, but by far one of the coolest and most unique functions built into this DJ MIDI controller is Pulse Control. Pulse Control uses an array of high-intensity lights integrated throughout the DDJ-ERGO's controls to provide you with critical visual feedback. There are four parts to Pulse Control, each with its own benefits. Mix Pulse uses a blue LED on the jog wheels that represents how close the phase and pitch of your tracks are by becoming more or less intense. Beat Pulse uses a series of LEDs built into the channel faders that glow in time to the beat, reflecting the volume of each channel with the brightness of each pulse. Launch Pulse indicates which deck you've loaded a track into by tracing a line of red light between the load button and the jog wheel of the selected deck. Finally, there's FX Pulse, which reflects which effects you've applied via various light patterns on the jog wheel. Together, the DDJ-ERGO's Pulse Control functions let you stay even more focused on your performance, and not on your gear.

More than just an excellent portable rig for experienced digital DJs, Pioneer Pro DJ's DDJ-ERGO is an ideal first DJ control surface.
