D-Control ES The D-Control ES worksurface combines the feel of a large-format console with a level of control and added Pro Tools functionality that can only be accessed with an ICON system. D-Control ES offers a comprehensive array of touch-sensitive controls and visual mixing feedback. With a dedicated center section allowing critical mixing tasks to be performed without leaving the sweet spot, per-channel control over all processing functions and routing, global automation capabilities, and full studio and control room monitoring and communications facilities, D-Control ES delivers an unprecedented level of hands-on control over the most complex projects. Updated text and graphics on the ES facilitate reading in low-light environments Surround Panner - The Surround Panner for the ICON D-Control ES worksurface brings powerful and convenient panning functionality to the center section of the D-Control ES console. Developed for mixing in all surround formats, the Surround Panner provides post and music mixing professionals multiple, ergonomic methods for moving sound throughout the surround field. Custom assignment capabilities let you use the touchscreen or joysticks to manipulate plug-in parameters in creative new ways. Pro Tools|HD 3 Accel system The Pro Tools|HD 3 Accel system supports extremely large and complex sessions by leveraging the power-on-demand capabilities of three dedicated DSP cards (PCI-X) connected via Digidesign's proprietary TDM II bus architecture. The most powerful of the base Core systems, Pro Tools|HD 3 Accel combines those specialized DSP cards with the processing resources of your computer to deliver awesome audio performance, large track counts, and impressive plug-in processing power. To help you take advantage of that power, the Pro Tools|HD 3 Accel system also includes the largest number of Digidesign and Digidesign Development Partner effects and instrument plug-ins as part of the free HDpack collection Greater I/O Facility 192 I/O - the flagship of the Pro Tools|HD interface family, is the best-sounding audio interface ever offered from Digidesign, rivaling similar products costing more than twice its price. In addition to support for up to 16 channels of analog and digital input and output, 192 I/O features a wide range of analog and digital I/O options to choose from, including 8 channels of high-definition, pristine-quality analog I/O, 8 channels of AES/EBU, 8 channels of TDIF, 16 channels of ADAT, and 2 additional channels of AES/EBU or S/PDIF digital I/O.
