Road Series Beauty!
Martin originally created the 'Road-Series' for a working musician or a weekend warrior. This sweet-playing guitar was designed to provide the unique Martin look, feel and sound at an affordable price.

Standard features for the 'Road- Series' generally include a solid wood top, laminated back and sides, satin finish, single band herringbone wood rosette, patented neck mortise, and 'A-frame' X-bracing.

The Classic 4 Sonicore Onboard Preamp system, included with the DCME, gives the player some impressive features and control over their sound beyond the usual bass and treble. Equipped with Sonicore pickup and Switchjack, volume control slider, active bass, midrange, treble and brilliance slider controls, low battery LED, easy access 'pull-out' housing.

I also have a higher end Martin HD-28VE, but I leave that home, and bring the DCME to gigs. I've never had an electrical failure, or any other other for that matter. Get it set up properly, and use the right strings, and you will love it.”
