Martin DC-16RGTE Aura!

The well established and innovative solid wood 16 Series guitars were originally conceived to deliver better sound at lower cost by using a special combination of Martin's proprietary bracing systems. With its "Hybrid" X-bracing, the 16 Series is now a favorite for players seeking great sound and good looks in a less expensive guitar.

The enhanced visual appointments common on some 16 series models are usually found on much higher priced guitars. Prominent features for the 16 Series include solid wood body, patented neck mortise, enhanced playability and Martin quality.

Fishman/Martin Onboard Aura System
Now you can bring the studio-quality sound of your Martin guitar to the stage in an onboard format with the Fishman/Martin Onboard Aura System. This onboard version of Fishman's groundbreaking new Aura Acoustic Imaging Blender harnesses the power of Fishman's proprietary Acoustic Sound Imaging technology and builds it into your Martin. The Onboard Aura features six customized Aura Acoustic Sound Images specially created for and by Martin, which can be blended with the Martin Gold+Plus Natural pickup signal for unequalled studio-quality reproduction of the world-renowned Martin acoustic tone.

These Acoustic Sound Images are derived from real studio recordings of the DC Aura and the OMC Aura being played into a variety of high-end condenser microphones. Other Onboard Aura features include digital and fully programmable equalization, feedback control, and a chromatic tuner. Truly this is the dawning of a new era in acoustic guitar amplification from these two industry leaders.
