Customer Reviewsfrom Fort Wayne, IN November 23, 2011Music Background: lifelong musician Perfect solo practice meterFantastic product for the the price. There is a clip on the back to boot.from Bellevue, WA December 25, 2011Music Background: Semi-pro musician Nice device, with a few minor design flawsThis device has a lot of functionality in a small package and I'm glad I own it. However, I have three gripes.1) I wish it were a bit louder. I have a cheaper, less capable device from another manufacturer that is noticably louder in a package that is only slightly larger than this one. 2) The device has unusual and unexpected behavior in the low battery state. It resets to factory settings as soon as you press the START button, rendering it useless. IMO, this is a bad user experience. When the device is in a low-battery state, there should be some clear indication. At least the instruction manual or the Roland support web site should mention this behavior. If you look at the amazon reviews, you will see that a lot of people were confused by this behavior. 3) The battery is a little difficult to service because the jewler's screw holding the cover is smaller than many people will have tooling for. Other devices have a cover that slides and locks into place without screws.
