Studio-quality D/A ConversionThe Benchmark DAC2 HGC digital-to-analog converter exceeds the high standards already set by their acclaimed DAC1 converter. Benchmark's new UltraLock2 jitter attenuation isolates every input from jitter, for impeccable clarity and detail. After you've experienced the incredible audio quality, you'll quickly notice the numerous workflow enhancements on the DAC2 HGC. Sample rate and word length displays give you fast visual feedback on the converter's settings, while generous I/O options help minimize the need to re-patch your gear. And with the convenience of USB 2.0 connectivity, it's easy to add the sweet sound of the DAC2 HGC to any rig.
Benchmark DAC2 HGC Digital-to-analog Converter at a Glance:
Incredible distortion-free, jitter-free output
Listening to audio from the Benchmark DAC2 HGC is an amazing experience. The distortion-free output is so pristine, it truly feels as though someone has finally lifted the curtain! Now you can hear detail that was previously masked by jitter-induced artifacts and distortion. If it was an exceptional recording, you'll hear it, if it wasn't, you'll hear that as well.
Stereo 32-bit/192kHz conversion with 211kHz capability
The Benchmark DAC2 HGC is a 2-channel, 32-bit, 211kHz digital-to-analog audio converter that is one of the more significant recent advances in digital/audio conversion technology. The DAC2 provides some of the finest analog conversion through resolutions up to 32-bit/192kHz and will play back 211kHz with a 48kHz analog bandwidth. The performance of the DAC2 HGC is unrivaled. THD+N is an astonishing low at any playback frequency, at any sample rate, with any degree of input jitter, and it just gets better from there.
Exclusive jitter-free UltraLock2 technology for real-world results
Many DACs derive their system clock directly from the AES receiver, making them very susceptible to jitter. These DACs can rarely achieve their rated performance in real-world applications. By contrast, the DAC2 HGC takes full advantage of Benchmark's jitter-free UltraLock2 technology. On the test bench, or at the end of 1000 feet of cable, the DAC2's performance is the same! This means you don't have to be a transmission line expert to be a great audio engineer.
Benchmark DAC2 HGC Digital-to-analog Converter Features:
The DAC2 HGC is essential equipment for mastering studios, high-quality recording studios, high-end home audio systems, or anywhere uncolored digital playback is a must!
