Customer Reviewsfrom Colorado April 16, 2012Music Background: Recording and live sound. Lifelong guitar student. Sometimes a picture is only worth 999 wordsand your sales engineer has the final word. Such was the case when I asked Mark Bruhn to help me find the "perfect D-28P." The photos on the website were a good start, but....I was looking for a studio guitar for acoustic recordings. After many, many auditions, it came down to the D-28P. I played one at a local shop and it was just so rich and full sounding. A wonderful guitar but a little shopworn. With this kind of investment, it had to be just right. I've always appreciated the service that Sweetwater offers, so I put Mark to work. Mark took the time to evaluate every D-28P in stock and relay his observations. We discussed what I was looking for compared to the website photos and what he was looking at in person. We decided to wait for the next shipment from Martin. When the "perfect D-28P" arrived a week later, Mark called and announced "This is it!" He was right, of course. This is simply the finest guitar I have had the pleasure to see, hear or play. It's not easy to find the right guitar via the internet or over a phone line but if you communicate with the right sales engineer, you can find your "perfect guitar." Thanks, Mark.
