Trent ThompsonThis is by far my favorite tom mic. Tired of having to Sound Replace your toms? This is the mic you're looking for. It sounds killer right out of the box! I bought an Audix mic pack just to "expand my selection" and let me tell you, I have never been happier. The D2 also rocks on a snare amongst other things. Trust me, these mics can take a serious beating... I've seen it.

You know you don't want too high of a response on any percussive instrument.
