This is the first time I've ever written a review on any thing! This little amp goes above and beyond for both electric and nylon/acoustic applications. December 2, 2009 Music Background: formerly touring Musician Cube 80x amp great for home use
by Adrian D'Souza from Mississauga,
I find too much noise comes out of the amp if I have the volume over 25%. Then again 25% volume is perfect to light up my entire townhome.September 15, 2010 Music Background: Student/Hobbyist It's very versatile, meaning you get a lot of... read more [+] features. If you're specializing in a particular type of music you'd want to buy something different but if you want a wide range of sounds, and a lot of features its ideal. You can play a backing track through its CD/DVD input, and also hook up pedals. It's got all kinds effects like Chorus, Flanger, Tremolo, and Phaser. It can simulate an acoustic. You can output the sound to a headphones for practicing in the wee hours without waking up the neighbours. Bottom line more professional amps sound better for their particular area but they don't come with as many built in features nor the versatility of 10 COSM amps, built in tap delay and reverb. You can control all these features with the purchased of a Cube 80X footboard off amazon.com for under $150.. Or buy a simply $30 footswitch to flip between clean and dirty. There's even a third programmable solo channel. For home use its unbeatable. I also bought a Godin velocity guitar which has a very wide range of versatility too. Keep it up Roland. Its a great amp for those who want versatility, power enough to light up a townhouse without NOISE in background. I'm sure it could light up my street but it would sound too noisy (meaning dirty noise, not good noise ) :-) close [-] love the features but the 60 sounds better :(
