Customer Reviewsfrom Chanhassen, MN January 28, 2013Music Background: Hobbyist in all styles, gigging rock musician Fun pedalI am really glad I added this pedal to my board. I just used it during a show for the first time on stage and it sounded great! I love having the ability to kick in some extra distortion when I need it too. The pedal feels great, looks great and sounds great. I recommend it.from Olive Branch, MS March 19, 2013 Great pedal but more of niche purposeThe GoodThis pedal is very well constructed and has a distortion circuit built in. The two mix knobs make a wide variety of tones available by playing with the mix. Overall it’s a great pedal. The Bad (or just different from other pedals) This pedal is somewhat nasally in its overall tone, part of the niche purpose. The distortion circuit only works with the wah circuit engaged. The wah will work independent of the distortion circuit. My biggest complaint with this set up is the plunger switch that activates the distortion circuit. It rarely works well activating with just a foot, you have to bend down and pull it quite often. The problem with this is that the pedal will break your signal chain when the wah circuit is disengaged and the distortion circuit fails to disengage. For this reason I would not suggest this pedal for performing live but does okay in the studio. Overall The tone of this pedal is great for that “Slash” type nasally growling tones. If you’re doing something with more of a full tone, this pedal will likely disappoint you. Combined with other “Slash” Octave Fuzz this pedal really comes alive with that niche sound. My only wish for this pedal is that the distortion circuit would not break my signal chain when it fails to disengage and I select the wah circuit off.
