I gave this 4 stars because it didn't change my life, but it is a handy little guy when the drummer wants to bash his hats. Cut hat bleed down considerably on the snare mic. Would be a trick to pos... read more [+]ition on toms unless you have stands that come from above. Is most useful on snare for me, and replaces the makeshift barrier I had designed. Had taken a few solid hits from less-experience drummers with no ill-effects. This makes my job easier. close [-]

I've used the Crash Guard a couple times now. I wanted to reduce hat bleed in the snare mic, and it certainly does that. I was impressed with how much it actually reduced it.
