It lets you switch a common source signal (guitar, bass, or keyboard) between two amplifiers or amp channels. It also allows you to switch two source signals (like two different guitars) into the same amplifier. The CoolSWITCH features LED indicators to show whether A, B, or Y routing is in effect. The Y-routing combines the "A" and "B" outputs in parallel so two amps can be driven at once.

Does the job, but causes an audible pop when you switch when you switch from a to b or vise versa. That's not good for recording or looping. I will be looking for another switch that doesn't pop.
