It's Worth It!If you've ever used a large format console like an API or an SSL board then you'll understand this board. This is a professional studio console. That this console comes with 8 mic pres, a compressor, and it's a DAW controller with automated faders, is awesome in itself but you also get features like a left and right cut button for your monitors, a sum to mono, and the routing possibilities for how you want to use this board are immense. Man does it sound clean. I'm running this board with an Apogee Symphony I/O (another great item worth its cost) through Equator Audio Q10's and the sound that's coming through my monitors has never been so good. When I got the board I immediately noticed the sound in my monitors, everything had more space, was tighter, and cleaner. The construction on this thing is all metal, heavy duty knobs and faders, absolutely nothing on it feels cheap. It's a very professional piece. The compressor is also amazing sounding. The manual is very easy to read and is very clear. This is the perfect solution for what I needed. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I believe everything can be improved.
