Replaces a Monster Footswitch!

I got my hands on a Mesa Boogie Quad Preamp a few months back and I've hated the FU-2 footwitch that it comes with since I got it. Initially, I would just stick a grounded plug in the rear jack for the channel that I wanted active and go with that. Recently, I got my hands on a second Quad Preamp and the massive footswitch for that one did not work at all, but I still kept it. My friend Damian told me about this Voodoo Control Switcher and this 4 channel version works for me, since I don't use reverb much. I use it in conjunction with a Morningstar MC6 and that combination has made it easier to change channels on the Quad, instead of tap dancing on the FU-2. Thanks.

Voodoo Labs Control Switcher

Works great as intended. I use this to control my PRS MT15 with my Line6 HX Effects. It helped reduce the noise that was produced when using the MT15 footswitch into the HX Effects EXT/AMP change.

Does its job! And easy to use

Using this with my prs mt-15. It works just as intended. Nothing fancy or cool but gets the job done. And it was pretty simple to configure with my pedal board midi controller. Highly recommend if your amp does not have midi

Worked Perfectly... Almost

I'm very impressed with the ease of use and programability of this unit. I'm using it to control 2 Bogner Ecstasy Blue pedals. These pedals use a pulse on/pulse off function, which this switcher does. I'm using a Tech 21 Midi Mongoose to control this switcher. The Midi Mongoose uses 2 of the patch buttons to change banks, i.e. button 3&4 will bank up, 3&2 will bank down. This is where I ran into an issue. If you press both buttons at the same time, the switcher tries to change to that patch, activate the relay, and change banks all at the same time, and sometimes (most of the time) the switcher doesn't catch that the output relay should be in a different state. The fix I found was to hit the button 3 on the Midi mongoose first, then press one of the other two buttons to change the bank. This gives the switcher time to react. I don't change banks in the middle of playing, only patches, so its not an issue for me but it might be for someone. Overall, I'm very happy with the switcher, and I highly recommend it!
