Complete Control of Dynamic Compression Six high-performance compression plug-ins of excellent quality! You get basic compression (CB1), compression with pre-filtering (CB2), and compression with pre-filtering and static/dynamic EQ (CB3) - all in mono and stereo versions. An extensive menu of controls means you get tons of different sound options. All standard controls are provided, including Output (make-up gain), Threshold, Compression (Ratio), Attack, and Release. Then there are the non-standard Knee and Bite controls, which allow you unique and unprecedented articulation of compression characteristics. Multiple peak detection circuit types provide flexibility previously achieved by owning different compression units. Side chain support, side chain or in-line pre-filtering, and a static/dynamic EQ section (post compression) round out the signal processing capabilities of an already very capable compressor. • Multiple Peak Detection Circuits: Every compressor uses a model to detect and track signal peaks and then apply dynamic compression. Variation of basic models are available in CompressorBank: -Type1: pure peak detection -Type2: pure peak detection combined with adaptive release times, plus a secondary release control -Auto: signal levels are automatically tracked. • Dynamic EQ: Using the same technology as our popular FilterBank Plug-In (including analog satuartion modeling), this static/dynamic parametric EQ section can be applied to the compressor output, making possible effects such as signal enhancement, noise reduction, and harmonic distortion. • Double precision arithmetic for 48 bit processing at side chain pre-filter, compression and active EQ stages . • Analog saturation modeling on each band prevents digital clipping. • Performance: Up to 16 mono (or 12 stereo) channels of compression on a MIX dsp. Compressor Bank can run on any MIX system dsp type (SRAM, DRAM, no RAM). PCI systems can run up to 8 mono (or 5 stereo) channels of compression on a single dsp. Limited Nubus support is available.
