I use this exclusively with my Taylor 714 acoustic. Playing in a Worship team I switch from light finger style to hard core strumming in an instant. So I borrowed one of these pedals from a friend and placed my order 10 minutes after I played with it.November 11, 2010 Music Background: Long time semi pro To dial it in I had a friend help. I set tone and gain knobs to 12 O' Clock and the comp knob all the way off. Then I started picking, strumming, picking, strumming, while my friend turned the COMP knob up. We did this until the volume balance between the two was just right. Then I adjusted the gain until it was where I needed it in my signal chain. About the tone- using the tone knob is optional. There's a toggle switch that turns it on and off. I can see want someone would not want to use it, so the switch is a great feature, but I actually like the tone it adds to my Taylor. MY guitar has the old Fishman blender, which is next to pure junk tonewise, IMO. This pedal's tone controls cleaned it up nicely. close [-] Also popular
