This amp gives you mountains of classic Marshall tube mojo
Created in the legendary "Bluesbreaker" style, the Class5 gets back to basics with a top-loaded Plexi-esque panel comprising Volume, Treble, Middle, and Bass. This simple feature set is the Class5's secret weapon, as what you get in return is authentic Class A tone, regarded by many as the purest amplifier design, rich in smooth second-harmonic distortion. The all-tube signal path offers a wealth of untainted analog tones at your fingertips. Sparkling cleans, full-bodied crunch, and glorious lead tones are literally just a dial turn away. With the Class5 also responding extremely well to on-the-fly guitar volume and tone control adjustments, it's a truly dynamic playing experience.

Specially designed speaker serves up primo tone
The Marshall Class5 delivers it's tone package through a special-design G10F-15 speaker. Co-developed with Celestion, this 10" gives the Class5 amazing low-end clout for an amp of its diminutive size, while retaining clarity and definition. The Class5's rear panel gives you both headphone and a 16ohm extension cabinet output socket, perfect for fully-cranked silent practice - or driving a 4x12 speaker cabinet to ear-bludgeoning levels!

Made-in-UK Marshall quality, through and through
Manufactured at Marshall's factory in the heart of the UK, Class5 combos are built by some of the most experienced hands in the business. Premium components, solid construction, and top-flight craftsmanship imbue the Class5 with the road-tough reliability you expect in a Marshall. This combo is ideal for studio, rehearsal, or small gigs, giving you all-tube Marshall swagger at its finest. The Marshal Class5 is pure inspiration.

This is an awesome amp. I bought it after realizing I greatly needed something in the lower watt realm as my other amps are all 30+ watts. It sounds amazing and will easily achieve late 60's and 70'... read more [+]s rock tones (Zepplin, AC/DC, The Who, some Hendrix). Don't let the 5 Watt rating fool you though, the amp is much louder than I expected it to be. The low power mode is great but doesn't deliver the same harmonic richness as compared to full power. Dont expect to crank it in 5 Watt mode in an apartment without upsetting someone. Overall its a fantastic amp for under $500. close [-]

It should be noted that the clean tone of this amp is fantastic and of course it will roar like a Marshall should. This amp is sensitive to the guitars volume so you can really go from cleaner tones to more crunchy and heavy tones just with your volume on the guitar. I love this amp, its everything I wanted. close [-]
