Well, obviously amp modeling has come a long way in the few years since this first was released, but it's certainly very good on certain applications. At first I tried coaxing brutal metal rythym soun... read more [+]ds from this plug-in but wasn't able to get anything too amazing in that department. Then I discovered that you can get some seriously killer lead tones from this with a bit of tweaking. It definitely helps to use the preamp modeler that comes with the vs8f3 cards ahead of this plug-in with a good amount of harmonic drive. The VS-LA2A also helps round out the tone when placed in line after this plug-in. Some of the clean sounds are pretty darn good and the spring reverb effect also sound pretty convincing. This is a good addition to the amp modelig on the vs8f2 cards, as it gives you some different tonal options to work with. close [-]
