Just what I needed, and I didn't have to spend a fortune.from Hoffman Estates, Illinois April 23, 2013Music Background: Write and record original songs to market. I have full time career as passenger train engineer that pays the bills. Roland CY-8I bought this cymbal mainly for the choke feature. It works better when recording sounds from the module (audio track). I custom mapped it to trigger in Steven Slate plug in and got it to "choke" about 60% of the time. Funny this opportunity came about to review it as I have been considering what cymbal to upgrade it with. If I had known how this cymbal worked the way it has for me, I would have passed on it and invested more in a cymbal that is better quality. |
