I took it out and started playing wit... read more [+]hout plugging it in -- it has this incredible meaty sound just like that, I couldn't stop playing, went for two days without ever playing it through an amp! But of course once I did it was love. Each of the five pickup settings has its own personality, goes from twangy to super-rich. It's an extremely versitile guitar, sounding exquisite on lots of different types of music, after two months I'm only beginning to get a feel for the entire range.
