Does what I need it to!

I'm CERTAIN that some of the high-end cable testers are better suited for pro's and probably have capabilities this little unit doesn't. I've also noticed some higher-end units have super-simple/user-friendly interfaces...nice!

BUT: for me - a well-equipped and capable amateur - it does everything I need it to, is easy to use, and proved it's worth at once when received - and is an amazing value. Solidly built. Compact.

1/2 star off for worthless/cheezy instructions, and the learning curve (I googled the unit, and found an image of what the lights will look like when a cable is OK...THAT ALONE conveyed more information than the entire instruction sheet! I printed it and taped it to the back of my tester).

But overall - very satisfied with it.

Perfect if you make your own instrument cables

Does exactly what it's supposed to do and the price was right! Using primarily for instrument cable testing and a must if you build your own patch cables (E.g., George's Ls).

Every band needs one of these on stage in someone's bag!

Great tester

I needed an inexpensive cable tester and the CT-100 fits that need very well.
AJ (my salesperson) made sure the send it quickly.

Behringer cable tester

I have several of these testers and loan them out to friends occasionally. They are reliable and easy to use. I realize it's time consuming to test all of one's audio cables before a gig but if you do some here and others there you'll get the testing done in reasonable amount of time. It really beats trouble shooting cables right before a gig. which I have also done. I have built several home made testers and Behringer's versatility and price make it a real bargain.

Awesome Tool

I have a other tools that I could of used but this makes it so much easier. I wish manual had more information. I like pictures so I went to forums and people posted pictures. It would be nice if someone would show video of what are the different scenarios for example what are the possible solutions if all the lights are on ( of course a short). I was able to fix all my cables and throw away those that were not worth fixing.

With this tool I can confirm my cables are in good working condition :) :) :) :) :)
