Two mics in one
Samson's CS Series mic gives you two mics in one. You get a threaded handheld base, and two capsules - one optimized for vocals and the other one tweaked to handle instruments. Both have tight pickup patterns to reject unwanted sounds onstage. This is do cool! Why didn't someone think of this before?

Vocal mic
The Samson CS1 Vocal Microphone capsule is tweaked for live vocals. Its rounded grill offers the optimal separation between the capsule and the vocalist's lips for superior vocal clarity and minimized handling noise. You'll also get great feedback and ambient noise rejection, thanks to the CS1's tight pickup pattern. And with its 60Hz-18kHz frequency response and high SPL-handling capability, the CS1 handles wide dynamics with aplomb.

Instrument mic
Tuned for drums, guitar cabs, brass and other instruments, reach for the CS2 instrument mic capsule when miking up your next show or studio session. The capsule's gives you a frequency response of 50Hz-18kHz, which perfectly compliments most instruments. It also features a tight polar pattern for excellent isolation from ambient sounds. This - along with its robust SPL handling, makes the CS2 a great choice for close-miking boisterous instruments such as drums and brass without fear of overload.
