lighten your load!

Still playin' in working bands since starting 45 years ago; all genres. 40-50 dates a year right now. Have been using double-braced stands since early '80s. For some time have been looking to lighten the overall weight of hardware, etc. but was of course concerned about stability. Finally bit the bullet! To my Yamaha Studio Custom all birch, natural wood kit, I added 755 stands. Great weight savings! Zero problem with stability flying my box set of A-Customs. Added bonus is that the 4-piece band I currently work with has a very non-cluttered stage appearance; like it! And now having all single-braced stands on my kit, the audience view of my space is extremely clean and tight looking.
