For some time have been looking to ligh... read more [+]ten the overall weight of hardware, etc. but was of course concerned about stability. Finally bit the bullet! To my Yamaha Studio Custom all birch, natural wood kit, I added 755 stands. Great weight savings! Zero problem with stability flying my box set of A-Customs. Added bonus is that the 4-piece band I currently work with has a very non-cluttered stage appearance; like it! And now having all single-braced stands on my kit, the audience view of my space is extremely clean and tight looking. close [-]
