Moog Moogerfooger CP-251 Control Processor ReviewsSweetwater Advice

The Moogerfooger CP-251 is a truly different beast than the rest of the 'foogers. It is designed primarily to create or modify the CV (control voltage) signals for use with the CV Inputs of the other Moogerfoogers, Little Phatty, Voyager, or basically any analog synth that has CV Inputs. You can mix multiple CVs and then control their output with a continous foot controller. You can also sweep the frequency of its built-in LFO and then control how much of it goes to something else. You can even use Noise as either an audio source or as a control source. The Lag Processor allows you to add "Glide" to any control signal with separate Lag (Glide) times for Rising and Falling voltages. (Too cool!!!) And the Sample and Hold lets you create those random values for Pitch ( like the R2D2 droid) or Filter (like the opening sound of Karn Evil 9). You'll never run out of ways to use it... It's the Swiss Army Secret Weapon for analog synthesists!
Customer Reviewsfrom February 20, 2013Music Background: Audio Production, Electronic Music, Sounds Effects Great add-on to your CV analog synth setup!I use the CP-251 with the Taurus III bass pedals and the Arturia Mini Brute and get some wicked analog filter sounds that sound so fat! I didnt think i would have this much fun making my own patches, but its sparked a while different fire with creativity. This is a must-have for analog synth/CV users/players. You'll never get bored with this little thing. Its a great tool to have!from Chesapeake, VA July 12, 2012Music Background: Synthesist CP-251Great for expanding your CV control. I use it with a Voyager Old School and Little Phatty w/ the CV out mod. The noise source is great for synths like the Little Phatty that lack it. If you have a Voyager with the VX-351 the CP-251 enhances your semi-modular experience.
