Excellent Piece of Equipment

I am just starting to get into audio recording, and wanted a drum pad that works with Cubase. Being manufactured by Steinberg, this was an excellent choice. The pads themselves have a nice feel to them, and you don't have to mash your fingers against the pads to get a response like you have to do on similar products. I also like the additional control functions that Steinberg added onto the pad that allow you to make quick adjustments in Cubase. I did have a little mishap when installing the drivers, but it was nothing serious. Overall, I like this product and I plan on purchasing additional Steinberg control surfaces in the future.

Just get it!

Achtung!
You will need a free USB port for each module. I was under the impression that they could be daisy chained together (an assumtion... the specs never stated this to be the case). Also, the stand collapses if you push forward too hard. It should have a locking mechanism.

That being said - the device is very well constructed. The materials are solid, the feel is natural and the size is perfect for my needs.
