LED-backlit pads change from green to orange to red, giving you instant velocity feedback. 4Velocity mode make step sequencing easy, and a handy rotary encoder lets you navigate through menus quickly with the CMC-PD. What's more, the CMC system is completely modular, so you can create the ultimate custom Cubase control surface, by combining your Steinberg CMC-PD with other CMC controllers.

In addition to its ergonomic design and easy integration into Steinberg's Cubase and Nuendo DAWs, the CMC-PD sports several features that make it particularly useful for groove production. 4Velocity mode makes step sequencing easy, and 16 selectable velocity curves give you the exact response you need. The CMC-PD also includes the dedicated PD Editor software, which allows you to easily change the MIDI note assignment for each pad.
