It doesn't offer lots of EQ options, just low and high, with 3 frequency selections for each. But it does all the work for you, making the bass sit in the mix just right. A simple one-slider compressor with three selectable curve/ration settings. Distortion is available, and this is a feature I didn't realize the value of until I tried it out. With a hint of subtle growl dialed in, the bass magically stands out in the mix. this thing is so great to give the bass its right place in the mix, works extremely well in my heavy rock mixes, I get a clear and present bass which doesn't disappear here and there.
