I bought this guitar for the pleasure of having an instrument I could kick back on the couch with a play. What attracted me was its shallow body (it's only about 4" deep) and smaller scale. At 3/4 the... read more [+] size of a typical classical guitar, the neck is just a hair wider at the nut than a full-scale steel string model, which is nice if you're used to a standard acoustic guitar. What's more, I find this instrument remarkably easy to play. It frets well all the way up the neck, and the action is smooth and consistent. Furthermore, I'm greatly impressed by Yamaha's excellent build quality, especially considering the price of this instrument. Simply put, this is a case of getting far more than what I paid for. close [-]
