This slot-loading player features a brushless motor for enhanced reliability and durability. What's more, the drive system grabs discs from the edges, instead of the top and bottom. That helps avoid damage to the disc surface and keeps your disc safe. The TASCAM CD-500B also features a front-panel 10-key pad, WAV file playback, front-panel lockout (perfect for installation in a public place), and a wireless remote. This model adds balanced output on XLR and AES/EBU connectors.
