The CB-37SY does serve the purpose for protecting your instrument in the way a soft case/gig bag does. The rigid top and adjustable standoffs for the case is a plus but I wouldn’t risk putting anythin... read more [+]g heavy on top of it during transportation. i think this case is really good for short transportation, i mean like it's a soft case, it could turn a bit fragile when travelling by plane especially if its going down the plane, cheers!
