As drum over heads I was in awe! Simply amazing at capturing every nuance of the harmonic detail in the cymbals and tone of the drum set. During overdubs I had to do some electric guitar parts and plugged one of my new C 414 B-XL IIs straight into the pres onboard the 003. Still, they sounded amazing! These mics rock - overheads, electric guitar, vocals, acoustic guitar... Still a part of the vintage 414 heritage, but better!"
