I own a few other mics in this price range but they don't shine like this one does. I'm suprised it dosen't cost more. Sound is on par with mics 2,3 or more times the price of this one. I have a couple different pre-amps (Focusrite Trackmaster amd FMR Audio) and this mic sounds fantastic running through either of them. This mic is amazing!! close [-]

I have mr U-87 blue mouse and a C 3000B and this mic is the best over all package. The U-87 is best on rock and some rap but with the C3 hooked up to an avalon 737 I never have to switch mics. I have some cheaper mics that I cannot any longer use ...these 2 mics (c1 and c3) have the same sound signiture as the c3 is best on dual vocals... read more [+] in the figure 8 pattern.
