Traditional Design: The Cordoba C10 is constructed with incredible attention to detail. The C10 features traditional handmade classical guitar design, including the solid Canadian cedar top with Spanish-style fan bracing. Fan bracing is preferred for classical guitars over lattice bracing, as it allows the guitar's top to vibrate more freely while still providing evenly balanced tone. Quality Tonewoods: The Cordoba C10 features only premium quality tonewoods for maximum tonal complexity and richness. The solid Indian rosewood back and sides set a powerful tonal foundation for the solid Canadian cedar top, giving you the right balance of warmth and brightness. The neck is solid African mahogany, for maximum transfer of string energy to the spruce top. An ebony fingerboard and Indian rosewood bridge complete the elegant look. Great Look, Great Playability: The Cordoba C10 is gorgeous to simply look at, from the detailed Mother-of-Pearl "Esteso" rosette inlay and Indian rosewood binding to the gold floral tuners with ebony buttons. And you'll love how the gloss finish shows off the Indian rosewood body and Canadian cedar top. But looks aren't everything - the C10 was designed with playability in mind, and the great look is just the icing on the classical cake. You'll love how the C10 feels. I certainly expect to have this guitar the rest of my life if I take care of it. It seems to be very solidly constructed and, with decent treatment and careful humidification, I believe it will stand ... read more [+]the tests of time. The tone is very rich on the low strings however; it is a little bit weak on the top three strings. Those top three strings have a very sweet, warm tone to them though, which makes it worth it. The sustain is great across the neck. I compared it against all of the other comparable all solid wood guitars from other makers. (Ramirez, Rodriguez, etc.) It stood up to (and beat) all of them while still costing at the very least 200 dollars less. I strongly recommend if you are looking for a classical guitar that you go out and buy this one. If it means bumping your budget up a few hundred dollars, do it. The guitar will last you much longer than whatever you were thinking about buying. If you are thinking about going with a low-end Rodriguez or Ramirez, reconsider raising your budget and checking this one out. In fact, go with any Cordoba guitar and you’ll be highly satisfied. close [-]
