Customer Reviewsfrom South Dakota, USA September 15, 2008Music Background: ex pro musician now I play for enjoyment. My first Bass. It should be yours too!A solid Fender Bass for the beginner or just to play with. This Bass has everything you need and delivers a true Fender Bass sound at a very affordable price! The neck is shorter but does not limit you in any way. Great sound and a great value and best of all, its a Fender. I highly recommend for the beginner! You will be very pleased.from MINNESOTA November 27, 2010Music Background: PRO MUSICIAN SINCE 1964 This is a great little bassThis is a great bass for the money. While I'm primarily a six string player having played since 1964, I played bass extensively years back. I hadn't owned one for decades and decided to purchase this one. It's got a great neck and as one gets older like me you appreciate the light weight on your shoulder. Surprisingly it has a nice deep tone...I'm from the old school that plays bass like BASS and not like lead and it does what I want it to do very nicely. My only little nitpick is the bridge intonation setup: You are only able to adjust one pair of strings at a time, and not individually, otherwise I'd have given it a perfect score. Again, if you're looking for a bass to play ALL the time or just occasionally, you will truly enjoy this little honey from Fender.
