Customer Reviewsfrom Colorado July 16, 2012Music Background: semi-pro Posi-Lok Side Mount BoomI wanted something that would work with a stiff gooseneck to allow me greater flexibility when working with various placements for pop filters. Fits the bill perfectly.from Sydney, Australia July 4, 2012Music Background: Over 40 years as a Sound Supervisor/Audio Director, mostly live and on location. Bolt-On Brilliance At A Bargain PriceThe four that travel with me get used all the time.I've found that the toothed clutch, mic thread "choke" ring and soft-tipped clamp make short work of PERFECTLY aiming and fixing: SRM150 monitor speakers (atop Mackie's supplied non-twist spigot) to standard 35mm (1-3/8inch) speaker poles (being exactly the right length for this speaker to be dead vertical with its back against the pole), Wireless mic paddle antennae to furniture, grids, fences, scaffolds, stands or other structures and Microphones (shock-mounted or not) and/or mini-cameras to all of the above, ...as well as to regular mic stands and drummers' hardware. A really great way to keep the floor clear. (Almost as effective as my singing...) from Green Bay, WI March 13, 2012Music Background: Recording Engineer & Pro Musician Attaches To AnythingIt was there when I needed it. Was at the start of a recording session and was short one mic stand for a ride tom. Looking in my mic locker I found the Side Mount Boom, put a mic on it and attached it to a another boom stand and away we went.from around October 12, 2012Music Background: engineering work fine for me and wide enough for large tripodsee above |
