I researched this quite a bit, eve... read more [+]n for me, and decided that this was the best possible choice. I was looking at Marshall and Vox as well, and the Jr III won out. The biggest factor was the Master volume control. I will play primarily in the spare bedroom and to get the break-up that I am looking for the Volume has to be nearly maxed out. The Master keeps the windows in the house and I can play at a reasonable level. This baby sounds great with my Les Paul and my Strat. Plenty of power, simple controls, sounds exceptional, works well with various pedals, what more could I possibly want. close [-]

Kent SallazI searched for a long time for a low-wattage amp that could bring me the sound that I was looking for. As I played through a number of obscure boutique amps, I kept coming back to the Fender Blues Junior III. It's an amp that plays great, and gives you a classic Fender sound that you've heard on so many classic recordings. It's built really well and I'm not afraid to push a lot of sound out of it. Also, with such a great price, I don't have to take out an insurance policy when I take it to a gig.
