Take a Walk on the Blues Side with This Amp!

Here's a great throwback to a bluesier time - the FENDER® Reissue Blues Deluxe! If you loved the Hot Rod Deluxe™ but wanted a little "bluesier" warmth to your tone, this amp is for you. The Blues Deluxe Reissue is an update of the 1993 Fender "Tweed" series that took a great old collectable 1950s Deluxe and customized it with channel switching and reverb. The Tweed Blues Deluxe is a vintage-styled tube amp with "boutique" tone at mass-produced prices, and pro players in rock, country, and blues will get great results from this reissue!

Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue Guitar Amp at a Glance:
  • The advantages of a Hot Rod Deluxe with a warmer tone
  • Two channels, both voiced for classic sounds
  • 40 watts through a 12" Special Design Eminence speaker
  • Classic tweed with vintage-style knobs and controls

The advantages of a Hot Rod Deluxe with a warmer tone
Fender transformed the Blues Deluxe amp into the Hot Rod Deluxe in the mid-1990s and gave it modified circuitry, a third "More Drive" channel, and Black/Silver cosmetic treatment. Though the Hot Rod series amps are more popular than ever today, increasing numbers of guitar players continue to request the warm tone, unique circuitry, features and look of the original Blues Deluxe version. The Reissue Blues Deluxe marks a return to that amplifier's tone and appeal.

Two channels, both voiced for classic sounds
The Fender Blues Deluxe reissue offers two channels that are perfect for classic blues, country, and rock styles. The Vintage channel serves up a great blend of cleans plus a "Bright" switch for lead playing. The Blues Deluxe's Drive channel pushes the 12AX7 preamp tubes harder and offers just the right amount of distortion. Independent Gain and Master controls in the Drive channel give you lots of tone and level options.

40 watts through special design Eminence speaker
The Fender Blues Deluxe screams "TUBE!" all the way! Its 40-watt amp is driven by two 6L6 output tubes for about the most authentic tone you can imagine. Power goes to a Special Design Eminence 12" speaker that sounds great low or cranked. The Blues Deluxe is a natural for the stage in clubs or miked in large rooms. Plus, you'll love the Blues Deluxe's signature sound in the studio.

Classic tweed with vintage-style knobs and controls
Fender does reissues right, and the Blues Deluxe is proof! Its cloth tweed covering will take you back, as will the vintage-style chicken head knobs and classic-looking chrome control panel. The Fender Blues Deluxe is an amp you'll love to own, love to play, and love to show off!

I love this amp. I knew when I saw the presence knob and the shape of the amp that it was a copy of the old fender Bassman. Anybody that ever owned one of those would do anything to get another

Has the sweet round sound you look to for all sorts of playing different rooms and strange and sometimes welcomed acoustic properties.Changed the master volume linear potentiometer to an audio type. I will be installing a cooling fan and definitly receive twice the life from the valve components as well as the output and power transformers. My next grab will be a 59 Bassman reissue but this rig will probably outshine in sweetness-but I,ll let you-all know, one way or the other. Jam on people. close [-]

I tested this amp out at my local music store (GC) and knew right away this was my next purchase. So I called up Dave at Sweetwater to make my purchase. Because, well after getting the kind of service... read more [+] you get from Sweetwater, I would feel like a real cheater not to give them all my business. BEST SERVICE AVAILABLE HANDS DOWN. Now about the amp. If your looking for a " Deep Clean Reverb Tone " this is the amp. Two channels clean and drive, the drive is not too much, just breaks up slightly with my Deluxe Strat. Heavy Metalers buy something else. I use the clean channel with my pedals to make a clean tone and an overdriven tone. on the drive channel I keep it dialed back clean and adjust the seperate volume knob low so I have a seperate channel for my E-Bow to keep the volume levels close together when switching back and forth. This amp sounds great anyway you play it, adding effect pedals or just plain Tube Tones. Buy it, you won't regret it. close [-]

I love this amp! It's clean channel is so clean you want to record every sound for posterity. True vintage Fender vibe. When distortion and such is required, just add your favorite pedal in the effects loop and away you go. The covering is very well done too. No sloppy workmanship here. close [-]

What a great amp! This little tone monster is ideal for everything from solo playing to small venue gigs. The clean channel has all the sparkle, spank, and bouncy lows that you'd expect from a Fender... instant SRV tone for a surprisingly affordable price!
