Tuned B to B, the Baritone-6 Mahogany gives you a low tonal range that's great if you have a deep voice or are looking to add tonal complexity to your music. But you don't have to be a baritone yourself to full enjoy playing the Taylor Baritone-6 Mahogany. Its lower range offsets a traditional E-to-E-tuned guitar beautifully, allowing you to add a rich new voice to your band.

Spruce-topped mahogany adds body without losing definition
To bring out the depth and character of the Baritone-6 Mahogany's unique voice, Taylor selected a the combination of Sitka spruce and tropical American mahogany. The mahogany back and sides give the Baritone-6 Mahogany a deep and resonant tone, adding natural warmth to its bass. The spruce top balances this sound by bringing definition and clarity to the Baritone-6 Mahogany's treble range.

Designed to faithfully reproduce your guitar's native tone, the Taylor Baritone-6 Mahogany's Expression System uses patented Dynamic Sensors to capture both top and string vibration with incredible detail. The Taylor ES system was created in partnership with renowned audio pioneer Rupert Neve.
