Pros: Wah activates as soon as you step on it and press just a little bit and turns off as soon as you depress it (I really don't like the typical wah pedal where you need to go all the way down to pr... read more [+]ess and depress the switch). This will allow you to activate and deactivate much faster and cleaner (without errors). November 30, 2011 Music Background: Rock, Blues. Active musician since 1985 Pros: Have not actually use the contour switch a lot, but it's there in case you need it, so it's a plus. Pros: LED indicators (specially for the contour) are handy on stage, eliminating doubts about proper pedal engagement durinf a performance. Cons: It gets some getting used to play with this pedal as it uses an optical system and sometimes you have to move the pedal a little bit different tahn typical wahs to get the effect sound. Cons: If your guitar cable gets trapped between the pedal and the baseplate while you were playing, the pedal won't return to the "OFF" position and you'r sound will be affected until you pull out the cable that is preventing the spring to fully retract the pedal to the original "OFF" position (When you wonder what's going on, that's when the LED comes handy by letting you know the Wah is still on). Other than those aspects, it's a pretty decent Wah and in my case I really like the optical switchless feature. I don't use the wah pedal intensively, so it's ok for me. close [-] Also popular
