This is a fantastic tool to have in the studio. I rarely write reviews on sites like this, but as a drummer who requires accurate feel to perform at 100% I can whole heartedly recommend this product. ... read more [+]The sound produced is as natural as can be expected when trying to achieve an authentic and dynamic acoustic drum sound using electronic drum pads/triggers. I love the factory BFD2 kits and use them a lot but the... read more [+]se are a different vibe and a perfect addition for me. You really do hear the excellent recordings and micing of these kits, these samples are so beautifully engineered that they truly sound like you can simply drop them into a mix and be done. (I know you can't, but they really do sound like that). It's like you took a great kit and mics, tracked the drums and have spent some time getting them ready to integrate into the mix. The entire first drum pass feels like it is done, which is huge for me. I own or have owned most of the drum sample libraries in various formats and I have to say that these feel like I actually hired a pro drum studio and an amazing engineer, more than any of the others so far. I'm using these with my Roland V-drums (td12kx) and it really feels like drums in the room. close [-]
